Marner - Shipwreck Universal

Tracklist 01. According to the Flood Hypothesis Ryan-Pitman
02. Zoster (the wrong / right medication I)
03. So much lamented
Ride 04. The Snake Island
05. Wherever Shipwreck

In a rainy day like this one can not fail to review an album whose title invites just look out the window and realize that Marner are perfectly right.
"Shipwreck Universal" , is about to collapse everything has not collapsed yet, is to devastate the last chance of survival. Marner, musical reality of the most fit in this Italic peninsula in the first autumn chill of this 2010.
We stand here to present Marner? I do not think, by now already know who knows, if you can not mean that it is not so necessary to know. The first
full of youngsters out to Bologna for a host of independent labels ( Bavosa Women, Blood Drives, Escape from Today, Trips und Traume, first and Nojoy Records) DIY is the rule and there are no cocks! Five tracks
declaring the end of the world, five tracks that you leave a second vein "neurosiana" unmistakable Breach and listened to the replay until vomiting, Botch and all the Hardcore purest that comes to mind is perfectly traceable in the record that Marner give us (in every sense as it is downloadable for free).
Riff fast, impulsive, disrespectful, broken by a battery that knows how to be sequenced just when you least expect it and it takes your breath away, there is no respite, but mostly there is no hope, words have a burden for these children and we thank them for this because they are a lot of the lyrics of this album you speak, they explain, they give you the direction in this sea where only the isolation and desolation seem to be protagonists.
sharp cry of pain, tiredness to know that things are not how they want to add it to see a lot of frustration slips away from the five pieces on the disc.
What can you say about a group that tells you that in two verses is the very life quell'eminenza gray against whom and against having to beat to be able to fight it out? They are right, they damn right. Hardcore
ruthless and suffering, no half measures, "the pain has only " and I will tell them first that you yourself can understand it alone.
few times before you are so steeped in hard, inspired and well above trend, but so out of all this for our children is the norm of Bologna. Little else
you have to do if you have not heard this disc download it (http://marnero.bandcamp.com) but trust me that having this beautiful original vinyl is a pleasure, dall'artwork texts, from the vinyl (which is always nice) internal to the poster.

LUCERTULAS - The Brawl

Tracklist:
1. 8 hours
2. An old man
3. In this town
4. A wicked eel
5. Crowning
6. The boxer
7. The nun's pray
8. Carlo's nightmare
9. The widower

Three years have not been enough to sober up of Tragol de Rova , And this round the Lucertulas are grappling with the tragic aftermath of those raids alcohol, sobriety is no longer a mirage but it is still far from being visible, the headache is preponderant, as in every phase surf worthy of respect, it is difficult to combine action to another, think and act simultaneously coast tremendous effort.
The synthesis of a hangover is the synthesis of the Brawl, which sees the trio back into action after months of continuous performances and collaborations (Christian hides behind the incursions of urban Lake Dead) and the result was to the most unexpected, splitting into two considerations of those who put down more than a faith in the previous disc. In
Tragol de Rova you could find the ultimate expression of drunkenness, unruly sounds, loose, rowdy, schizophrenic time, rough, broken, in a deadly admixture between chaos and order if ever there can be one, which bordered the noise went hand in hand with the blues and psychedelic, noisy and brutality assorted brackets, in the Brawl this does not happen and it seems that one thing excludes the other, rather than hand in hand we can say that the components give you his hand as a substitute for one another. And 'this is the detail that has divided, in its analysis that the division of labor sees its core.
Sound of Lucertulas became more physical, more human, fell from desperate lands and abstract approach to a more human approach, for convenience and concreteness, and that issue may well feel the hysteria of 8 hours and continues head down to the Boxer, with an attitude far more violent than in the past, where the guitars are more orderly and less trying to roll over one another, where once again the will left by the door and that Cows .
But, as before mentioned, the hangover is hard to get to do two things at once, and that's the most visionary of Lucertulas suddenly makes its appearance and lets go until the end of the album, Boxer the hits and hits hard, but does so with a mechanical nature that there was not even in Tragol de Rova, times change and change method, but returns to hit the same spot with a series of riffs that become memorable. The Nun's Pray is the desperate cry of a headache that is hard to clear and you until the final thud, hiss in the ears that continues until the final page of the Widower, where the sound is thin and square come up with the parentheses of the most dramatic Scratch Acid alchemy of Big Black, without drum machines but with the warmth of extra gear that is lost in the bottom of the sink a final effort.
The Brawl is an album that divides itself with its approach and this is a possible key to his approach to musical expression, but the brand still exists Lucertulas thanks to the validity of its contents and the guitars are always jump off the chair , perhaps the character is less surprising, but the quality makes up for that too. You just have to see what they will do now, if you continue to accumulate again clear mind or undertow. Meanwhile, send down a cup of coffee and lemon.

INFECTION CODE (Interview)

After the review of End we exchanged some impressions with frontman Gabriel to know more about the current state of Infection Code, here's the result:

Hello and Welcome back Gabriele NeuroPrison up. Three years have passed from "Intimacy" and once again you took the right time to focus on ideas, and finding the right way to channel everything through the new songs they see further expand your sound spectrum, tell us a little of that has happened in this time ....

Thanks for hosting again in the pages of our Neuroprison beast. It has been three years when we took our time to play some 'around promoting "Intimacy" and then to lay the groundwork for a new album. We were not too much to think about how we had to evolve / devolving, but we responded scream desperate and heartbreaking emotion of our art that asks us to create new songs. After about a year and a half of work has been released "Finish".

the new album in my opinion plays a role in the electronics even more crucial for the final result that you have come, the atmosphere is always dark cmq but without affecting the identity of the sound band breathe a different air, I dare say the result of the final maturity reached ....

I think that the electronics and testing associated with it to create new atmospheres, has played a decisive role, as well as the use of guitar and voice. Many things have changed in sound level in recent years at 'internal band. The electronics, if the first was just a final landscaping is now part of our identity and style guide the destiny of a song. Along with a new use of the guitar want to make the compositions more dark and sick and play a lot on the feedback, noise, rather than the single riff.

Think with FINE to have reached a sort of turning point in your career, I mean whether in light of this record, there may be future of new forms of expression or even quite radical stylistic choices?

During composition we have set only one point: that "End" was to be a turning point in art. We wanted to break away from the things done before in a drastic way, and leaner. Give a cut in the past to venture into new things that we could give new emotions. We started as a Death-Thrash band and we were a bit 'tired of being seen as a group of extreme metal. We want to continue to be extreme, difficult and annoying, but speaking with other subtleties of sound. Still trying to maintain our identity, that, and I do not want to sin presumption, is unique and ever-changing. Whatever we do, we will always be us.

With regard to the production you have got to be able to count on Eraldo Bernocchi, how you got to work with him and what his vision has influenced the sound of the album?

For some time, "Intimacy" with Eraldo we had not felt for a possible collaboration, and when we finished composing the songs on "Finish" we did not hesitate even a minute. We felt and we asked him if he wanted to mix and produce it. We wanted to bring something visionary and disturbing to the sounds of "Fine" with a little cutting metal / rock and more experimental. We wanted to have a production away from the classical discs post hardcore / metal / industrial and I think he was the right person to create this sound magma. He was thrilled to participate actively in this adventure and has proved a very eclectic person with a culture and a crazy musical artistry and monstrous. Certainly not us to discover the immense talent of Bernocchi. We felt flattered that he wanted to be in the game. E 'come out with something strange, unique, and let annoying, wonderful. An experience that left them even sign on the grooves of the disc.

I was very surprised by the cover of "Cupe vamp of CSI, I confess Listens to lend me that before I was very skeptical about the possible outcome and instead I had to change his mind big time. In the past you told us to appreciate our local band, because the choice fell on this song?

Much of the band loves what they have done these characters, first with CCCP and then with CSI. They are among our favorite plays. Along with a few other mainstream groups have managed to create a huge space between rock music with a certain specific gravity and rock entertainment. Theirs is pure poetry. That both electrical and acoustic CSI gave us the immortal pearls of enormous and incredible musical expression. Giovanni Lindo Ferretti a singer in the strict sense of the term. But it is the best. His poems, his interpretation, his being so little and so much frontman icon makes it unique. Whether you agree with what he writes and what he thinks or not. It is expressed in a way that can not hurt you. We wanted to pay homage to one of the largest Italian bands of all time. We wanted to do it our way. Choosing one of the most beautiful and evocative songs I've ever written. It 'was a gamble. But even before we knew that we would upset win. Why did we do with the heart and soul in his hand.

All the pieces of the album have a distinct personality, but I was particularly Grey fascinated by that as I wrote under review has brought me to mind the great notes and gray Neurosis Eye of Every Storm, and I think we can perhaps be regarded as the biggest challenge on your part from the artistic point of view until now, do you agree?

"Grey" is perhaps the first born. It 's the first child of this new marriage. "Grey" was terrible. All 'a bit early' inconclusive and not very reassuring. We are not convinced. And we did not like. We tried to breed it, care for, protect, educate them in a more experimental sound with tons of effects, feedback and stylistic upheavals. It 's the piece that made us slam more. Eventually our efforts were rewarded. G rey "has grown. Strong, with personality, character, and can now walk on her own. Make its way by itself. Overcoming obstacles and problems. Growing old alone. We have not thought of Neurosis, much less a monumental album like "Eye of Every Storm." Perhaps our unconscious is speaking and we played this joke. The Neurosis were our fathers, and this probably has had an enormous influence to "Grey".

Focusing on the lyrics of the album is easy to see what color cues are a constant metaphor for the mood that reigns in the various songs ... what topics are covered?

I wanted to play with the colors of telling stories that are not linked together. It could be a concept on the colors but it is not in the strict sense. I wanted to tell very personal stories and thoughts by treating them as if they were colors. Besides, my life, if we wanted to synthesize and summarize it by playing with the color of the world is colored with black, white, gray, red and purple in "Varnish" is art that comes alive and kills the 'artist, or in "Painting my life" of a painter who makes a mockery of death portrayed in tones and bright colors and flashy, or in "Collapse of the red side" where the ideal of a man drowning in a bath of blood and lies.

Tell us a little of the charming artwork, who is the author and what it represents?

The artwork, as all our work has been created, designed and built by Enrico, bass player and creator of noise behind tons of infernal contraptions. You put a personal vision on canvas of what the music of "End" has suggested. His works are very abstract and personal, encapsulating perfectly the claustrophobia and the sense of unease that the music of infection code describes and praises.

At END have also a new record deal, with the return to New LM Records ...

The agreement with what is old is NEW LM. We know them from the time of our second album, which produced. Then there was the interlude with the Beyond prod who brought "Intimacy" and now here we go again, again with the NEW LM. After breaking with the Beyond (also in a friendly way) do not deny that we have looked around a label, not least foreign to us could support. We did listen to the album around to several record labels but no one heard of the bet on us. NEW The LM was once again, our lifeline. They are small, but passionate and know what they want. But above all do what they say.

Regarding the live aspect of what you have planned? There is already a tour to promote the new record coming?

not talking about the tour. We do not use big words. It will be very hard to organize some gigs here and there sporadically in Italy. Meanwhile we will continue to write new things and here we would like to leave a short split, perhaps in vinyl, a seven-inch with some other band. Indeed, I take this opportunity to launch an appeal: those wishing to participate with us in this split it is welcome. We are also working on the sketches, still very immature of songs and then we're venturing to overturn one another immortal song, which has made the history of rock visionary and lysergic acid. It released a version very personal.

Ok, we concluded, thank you for your time and you've given us good luck!

of Neuroprison Thank you for the space and support. Stay Noise!

5. Legacy
6. Witness
7. Timeless
8. II
9. Antarctica

13. III

Listen "Antarctica" is like plunging into the icy waters of the South .. them is that Josh, the lead singer of To Kill romanissimi , is heading along with Steve Irwin, the Black Sea Shepherd ship, for now we are in front of the last chapter of this "Ardecore" more Roman Roman you can not.
Testament, last will, call it what you want, but the 13 tracks of "Antarctica" is the final cry of a band that scored in the last six years, and milled the heads and Italian roads, and not just yelling and despair anger intensified. So we leave
To Kill, and puppet cabin close to follow their personal ambitions, and if they can not blame any of them, deep down you always knew that sooner or later this would happen.
Going to the bottom of this last record we can safely say it is not an innovative album, but that did not want to be, but it certainly is inspired (the lyrics are nothing short of sublime and venomously outspoken!) An album that runs away as fast a blade on the ice face.
short tracks, with very little detachment from each other ready to smash the face of the listener in just two minutes.
pain, despair, anger and frustration, all elements have always been present in the history of To Kill but here they blend perfectly as remaining stuck in the immense iceberg that stands on the cover.
themes are proposed to our loved ones again, environmentalism and the animal with particular attention to the fact that if man is not a shock sooner or later will make the entire Earth, a desolate planet and just as cold as the ' Antarctica.
The sadness in knowing that these will be the last words written about this group can not hide it, it is thanks to them that I was able to discover a world that now is for anyone who writes a real faith.
We break all the schemes and we sincerely thank the To Kill for what they did for the Italian hardcore and what they will do individually from a few months now. Allow me a personal thanks and encouragement to Josh who is about to start with Sea Shepherd, rompetegli ass guys and thanks.

Customize Bmx Bike Colors

Antarctica (Interview)

After the review of Solve Et Coagula we heard Mike and here is a quick interview to find out more about news and developments The Secret in the house ...

Solve Et Coagula
features tracks much more linear, directed at the same time you can clearly see your maturation phase composition, greater attention to detail and in particular the objective to focus on bring out every nuance. As external inputs, which are simply new plays or musical stimuli related to everyday life, have affected the evolution of your sound?

Some time after the recording of "Disintoxication" we realized that many things in the record that we recorded in our view did not work and we began working on new material. Listening to the record we had the impression that the songs would have made much better by using fewer elements for each piece. This was the reflection of departure that led us to evolve our sound in this direction as "dry", but also playing live regularly made us realize that simplicity would have led to greatly improve both on stage and in drawing up the pieces. The plays are not really changed that much, maybe you are in a certain way "restricted". The gestation of the disc was definitely one of the quietest ever, and there have been many tensions within the group, both personal and artistic. Perhaps this has led us to express ourselves in a more direct and primitive and often try to spend less time in the rehearsal room than in the past and be more instinctive.

Disintoxication two years ago represented a real new beginning for the band, both in terms of style that's lineup; Solve Et Coagula can be seen as the natural next step in what they aspire to be like or band should be seen simply as your new album, a testimony of what who are at present?

I think "Solve et Coagula" is a sort of "purification" of those who have the same elements that are the basis of "Disintoxication. As I mentioned before, we have essentially taken away what we did not like. The big difference I feel now, at least on a personal level, is that this time I have no regrets and would not change anything about the album that we recorded. I have no idea that that will be our next album in music but I think we have found a balance at this time.

Much of the album is a real slap in the face, with a succession of outbursts in short-hued crust / grind and black metal influences, even more than in the recent past are then to balance things and make it more interesting 'episodes play more experimental and atmospheric, all the instrumental Bell of Urgency. Just this union of styles and influences perfectly integrated in the basic framework is what makes it distinctive sound your current goal increasingly difficult to achieve in today's music scene ..... do you agree?

but I hope not to be misunderstood to be "original" mixing different influences is absolutely not our priority, not our starting point. Obviously we do not want to sound like other bands but this time we thought the final result less than in the past, no planning or purpose default. We just tried to be honest and do the things we liked best without thinking too much about. I'm glad if you think our new work has its own identity but the only thing we are interested in creating the album was to write good pieces. At least as far as I often prefer to listen to a good classic rock song rather than the last hard test Mike Patton. I do not want to argue about whether something is "better" but simply is what interests me most at this time.

As for us, especially for the most direct pieces, sometimes you just have a riff that we liked and the song came out "alone." If it sounds good we were working on a few days and then recorded without fuss. Other times it was necessary to work on it for more time, we felt that we needed to go slightly more in depth below the surface to make sense of what we were playing but the priority has always been the song.

Looking prefer the character of originality.

From Lyrically it is easy to see that once again your songs are far from being imbued with optimism ...

The lyrics in the album Mark has written them all but I can tell you that everything that can be found in the texts always turn around the loss of faith / trust. In politics, media, religion, social relations. The situation in the country in which we live is totally degenerate and is getting worse every day if possible. I hope the bottom has been touched but I fear that things may get worse still. Too many people do not understand that is believing in the people who are the main cause of the problems we are facing now. He believes politicians blatantly lying, seeks comfort in a false religion and hypocrisy, look at a TV that continues to crown a model to follow people that make me just sucks, controlled by other people who are even more disgusting.

We are sinking into the abyss and the thing that saddens me most is to see that is what people want.

Italians good people.

How lineup was recorded on disc? Do you think the current rhythm section to become stable (do not say definitively given the sudden defection came in recent times, for good luck), or be seen as a temporary aid to promote the live album?

The album was recorded with Chris on drums, Henry on bass, Mark on vocals and me on guitar. Christian has left the band a few weeks after the recordings and now Thomas Court is our new drummer. The situation is final, we are very soddsfatti.

How did you work with an icon of the scene and a great professional like Kurt Ballou? How important were his way of seeing things and his experiences in the light of the excellent end result?

Working with Kurt was a very pleasant and relaxing even though he is without doubt one of the great protagonists of heavy music in recent years. Before entering the study, we produced all the tracks of the pre hard in the rehearsal room, trying to get to Godcity with clearer ideas as possible. Kurt's work was essentially to think about how to get the sounds we had in mind, without putting too much the voice on the structure and arrangement of the pieces themselves. I think Kurt is very good at being able to find the right "sound for every band that records without following standardized formulas or modus operandi. We spent time in trying to balance the sounds and bass guitars, still trying to keep the rough and dirty nature of the pieces that we had heard before leaving. It is a person of great patience and experience and hope to get back the good fortune to work with him in the future.

Disintoxication than there have been major changes regarding the equipment used it?

Recording in Salem we had to use the instruments of the study of Kurt. The whole approach to the sounds of this album is very different from its predecessor, especially with regard to the guitars. This time I used an Ampeg V4, an Orange OR and combo boxes on a Marshall 6x12 Emperor. For the low Henry used a 8x10 Ampeg Orange on cash. Gibson Les Paul Custom and Gibson Grabber.

During our last interview you said you were optimistic about the state of the Italian underground music scene, with the feeling that something was finally moving .... you're still the same idea? E 'increased the response from the public to your concerts?

Starting from the last part of the question, we feel that now there are certainly more people who follow us, the feedback of the disc at the moment is really good, even for the good work he is doing to promote the Southern Lord. As far as being optimistic or not on the Italian scene, I no longer interested in this question. I think that in Italy there is a very strange situation, people with less taste and musical knowledge are often those most active and proactive. We happened to play really absurd contexts in recent years. Often concerts where things were organized in the most professional manner and had created more expectations we have proved terrible at other times have gone out of the great concerts where we least expect it. It is always a slightly lottery. Now we are particularly interested in playing in areas where we feel more at ease, more control, although sometimes it can also mean giving up a slice of the public. We came to the conclusion that it is often better to play in front of 100 people who are interested in them because our music in front of 300 that are there to go to evening.

After the closure of Goodfellow you have found without a contract, you have been running a pre-album and Greg Anderson was impressed ... this sums up the path that led you to join the roster of Southern Lord.Pensate have finally made the breakthrough band to be the definitive view of the world or there is still recognized standing much work to be done, especially from the point of live intensely and then increase the activity?

not really know how to answer that question because I do not think we're arriving at such conclusions. Certainly we still have much work to do and I think we still significant room for improvement as a band. Working with Southern Lord po'cambiato has a lot of things and I do not deny that now happens to people who previously were not We devoted a second but now even sends us to do interviews. E'assurdo as people often need someone else first "approve" what then are going to listen.

However, the disc has just been released so it's really early to reach conclusions. Let's hope so.

You already have a well defined program of what will be your tour in Europe and then overseas by the end of this year and 2011?

we're talking about in those days. Right now I should be touring the U.S. with the Early Graves but as most of you know our friends have had a terrible accident, and their singer Makha Daniels is dead. After this po'tutti plans a tragedy of 2010 is gone and nothing to play here until the end of the year in Italy. We are planning for 2011, but luck did not want to anticipate anything. There are some very interesting things going on here. Hopefully well here.

Ok we are finally, thanks for the time that you gave us ... good luck to all and see you soon!

Thank you.

Why Does Old Spice Burn

INFECTION CODE - End

Tracklist:

1. Varnish
2. All Colours
3. Grey
4. Collapse of the red side
5. Black Glue
6. Brooding Vamp
7. Painting My Life

They come three years after the previous "Intimacy" the Infection Code, and is definitely a welcome back to judge from the seven pieces that make up Finish . If
with the previous work the band had aimed to raise their sound to maximum effect can be disturbing and suffocating, experimenting with sounds and production so as to obtain acidic and unhealthy atmosphere, this time we see a decided though not radical changes, as the artistic essence of the band remains devoted to the expression of that existential suffering increasingly characteristic of modern man.
What immediately struck the ear is production treated in this case by Eraldo Bernocchi , renowned musician and producer of international level, a record of never Infection Code had sounded so crisp, thick and powerful. A dramatic change if we adopted the sounds for previous productions and proves that the right choice in make the most of the new compositions, marked by less claustrophobic atmosphere but very bleak and shadowy, characterized by a clever use of electronics on the one hand and by massive walls / guitar feedback on the other.
It is up to the task of Varnish us delve into a little reassuring tone of the album, a sort of obsessive mantra industrial tribal rhythms, bursts of guitar and screams, framed dall'effettistica background, whose use will be valuable to another feature supporting the full tracklist. All Colours episode is undoubtedly the strongest association with the past, hovering between post-hardcore and noise rock, and saw as the perfect lead single on the duration contained. With Grey
the album begins to reveal itself in all its essence, a long and distressing affect, and vocal soundscapes that recall the truly enchanting and psychedelic textures of gray Neurosis The Eye of Every Storm.
Collpapse of the red side opens with the impact of low and puts inquietanre revealed a structure absolutely fantastic in terms of dynamic, balanced between explosions, violent electronic substrates, powerful and evocative guitar groove delays. In
Black Glue back to peep at the mixture of noise and the typical post-hardcore band, this time characterized by continuous stop and go, a fierce, pulsating distorted bass and granite rifferama rending. There is also room for a new cover, experiment in which the band has become accustomed, and on this occasion with the result of our own Cupe Vamp CSI is really amazing, was not easy to give new life to the track without falling into the ridiculous but Infection Code with simplicity and passion pass the test with flying colors. It is up to
Painting My Life close the album, a task accomplished in the best way possible thanks to a particularly evocative and introspective incipit, suggesting internal analysis, inevitable and silent reflection on his life, a tension ready to explode, however, giving free vent to the frustration built up ... impossible not to be involved and affected.
End represents all the colors needed to paint our lives are the Infection Code that at the height of its potential have reached final maturity, showing a remarkable consistency of expression and the arts. Make it your own, you will not regret.
